General Track Rules

(To be observed by all events)

  1. All competitors/guests must sign waiver provided by the Putnam County Fair at the track entrance.

  2. Competitors will only be permitted two vehicles in staging area, meaning one tow vehicle and one other.

  3. A maximum of 8 people, including driver, are permitted in the staging area. Anyone in the staging area under the age of 16 shall be accompanied and controlled by a responsible adult at all times. Any unsupervised children are subject to removal from the area at the discretion of the Putnam County Fair staff and law enforcement officers.

  4. No one under the age of 16 will be permitted into the track event area except for participants who provide written parental consent to participate in an event.

  5. One driver/rider will be allowed at no charge. All others will be required to pay a full admission price.

  6. NO DRINKING OR POSSESSION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL BE PERMITTED. ANYONE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY REMOVED! Coolers will be subject to inspection.

  7. Any aggressive behavior by driver/rider or guests will be reported to local law enforcement and will disqualify a team from competition.

  8. Any driver, competitor or guests disobeying the rules will cause his or her team to be disqualified. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and will be grounds for disqualification and barring from future events and could cause removal from the area. Drivers are responsible for the actions of their guests.

  9. We want to promote a family atmosphere and therefore profanity will not be tolerated.

  10. The Putnam County Fair association, board of directors, track owner and or track promoters are not responsible for damage to vehicles or personal property while in the staging area or during any competitions.

  11. Contestants of the Putnam County Fair are not employees of the track, fair association or the promoter of the Putnam County Fair event.

  12. The promoter, track owner or fair association will not be held responsible for any vehicle, parts, or personal property before, during and after the show or overnight.
